BlackBerry Curve 9360 creeps on to Vodafone Coming Soon page

As well as announcing new Bolds, Torches and the rest, RIM has got another BlackBerry up its sleeve for 2011, the Curve 9360.

Keeping in line with the BlackBerry Curve pedigree, the 9360 looks to be a lower-specced deal compared to the higher end Bold 9900.

There’s no spec list, but the attached video mentions a 5-megapixel camera which features EDoF (Extended Depth of Field) instead of the usual autofocus, a flash and supports face detection. The screen measures 2.44-inches and features the ‘liquid graphics’ seen on the Bold 9900. No mention of the hoped-for NFC capabilities though.

The only other thing that’s been mentioned is that it’s the ‘Latest Thinnest Device’. Thinner than a LG Optimus Black Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc NEC Medias we wonder? Or just the thinnest BlackBerry yet? We’ll have to waif and see.

Nothing on the ground in terms of price or availability other than as the video says, the Curve 9360 will be coming to Vodafone contracts and pay-as-you-go.
