Just as the last vestiges of the snow have given way to slush, Omio has discovered that the UK is to be hit by a pair of Storms, the first of which is due to arrive sometime next month.
T-Mobile has just announced that it will be selling the BlackBerry Storm 2 in February but was unable to give us any more specific data concerning the date or even the price. We expect it will be available on contract from around £30.
We have also heard from O2 this morning that the Storm 2 will be touching down on its network. Again, there are no details regarding prices and dates as a deal is being worked on at the moment.
The BlackBerry Storm 2 first arrived in the UK on Vodafone and is the follow up to the original Storm, BlackBerry’s first touchscreen handset. Features include a large 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash,Wi-Fi, GPS and BlackBerry Maps.
The Storm 2’s touchscreen is clickable and capacitive and is a great improvement on the clickable screen experience of the first Storm.
