Remember Kieran Gaffney? No, nothing to do with Dean. He was the little spiky-haired fella on the last series of Britain’s Got Talent. Played the drums. That’s the one. Well, there’s an app for him now.
It’s called Kieran Gaffney’s Drum Fun, and offers a surprising amount of stuff to do. So, there are three virtual drumkits to tap out beats on – the app is sponsored by Sabian cymbals – as well as a bunch of ‘drum tones’ created by Kieran for use as your ringtone or alarm.
What’s more, there’s a built-in game, where you have to run through platform levels collecting cymbals and hearts, to defeat a ‘rock n roll villain’ wearing suspiciously Kiss-esque makeup.
Apparently, Kieran has racked up more than 10 million views on YouTube thanks to his success on BGT. Will that translate into lots of people stumping up 59p for his app though? Watch this space.
