With an increasing number of airlines offering in-flight Wi-Fi, travellers are gleefully emailing and apping their way through the skies. And new iPhone app CloudClick is an intriguing service that takes advantage of this.
It’s described as a ‘mobile chat application’ on the App Store, but it’s actually more of a mobile concierge service. You fire it up, and can chat via text with one of CloudClick’s representatives.
“No matter if you need to purchase (change) an airline ticket, send a message to someone, make a hotel, car or dinner reservation or simply get driving directions this app is for you,” claims the blurb.
“Travel can be frustrating enough without being stranded on a plane with no connection to the ground. CloudClick can ease your travels by providing real-time relevant assistance to a travel expert.”
The app is free, but we’re guessing you pay for whatever you get CloudClick to do for you, perhaps via a commission.
