We’re not yet midway through November, but the Christmas consumer season is well and truly underway. Just look at the TV ads for proof: you can’t move for scarves, snow and presents during the average commercial break.
Now Coca-Cola has gotten into the festive spirit early too, with the release of an iPhone app called Coca-Cola Christmas Snow Globes.
It’s a virtual snow globe, as you may have guessed. However, there are personalisation features too: you can log in to your Facebook account, and put your friends into the snow globe.
(Admittedly, with a strange visual effect that makes their faces look like they’re being reflected in the back of a spoon.)
The globe can then be shared with those friends, or posted to Coca-Cola’s Christmas website.
