If the iPad is too much tablet for you to handle then you need to check out the Dell Streak.
Carphone Warehouse and O2 are selling the Dell Streak (16GB) on monthly contracts and pay as you go from today. The cheapest offer works out at £25/month on a 24 month contract, you get a free Streak but the deal only gives you access to 3G data and Wi-Fi (500MB). If you want to use your Dell Streak as a phone though then you’ll have to dole out a little bit more cash.
Monthly contracts start at £25/month (100 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data), but the cheapest offers involve paying for the Streak itself. If you’d rather not pay for the Streak then the cheapest ‘free handset’ deal works out at £35/month on a 24 month contract. 18 month contracts are shorter but cost £5 more per month. Alternatively, you can buy the Dell Streak on pay-as-you-go for £399.
