The Dell Venue Pro was absent from last weeks’ big Windows Phone 7 bash, but it has just popped up on Expansys, going for £500 SIM-free and unlocked. The earliest listed delivery date is currently the 9th of November, two Tuesdays time.
The Expansys entry also comes with a comprehensive spec sheet which details some more of the Venue Pro’s vital stats. As well as the 4.1-inch Gorilla Glass-reinforced touchscreen and the slide out Qwerty we knew about, the Dell Venue Pro will come with a 5-megapixel camera and a 1GHz processor (a Qualcomm 8250 Snapdragon). As these are part of the minimum requirements for Windows Phone 7 phones we’re not too surprised to see these listed.
The only deviation from the norm we noticed is that the internal memory weighs in at 1GB and there’s a microSD card slot. All of the other Windows Phone 7 phones we’ve seen so far have either 8 or 16GB of memory and none have come with card slots.
We contacted Dell for further comment on the Venue Pro but we’ve yet to heard back.
