Good deal: Nvidia Shield Tablet bundled with free games and accessories in March

For the duration of March, you can pick up the excellent Nvidia Shield Tablet and get essential accessories like the Shield Controller bundled for free, not to mention awesome games like Half Life 2 and Portal.

You might not know this, but we abso-bloody-lutely love the Nvidia Shield Tablet. This ridiculously powerful Android tab is a gamer’s delight: not only can you download and play massive hits like Half Life 2 directly on the device, but you can also stream your PC games and now even get stuck into some awesome cloud gaming, thanks to Nvidia Grid.

If you haven’t heard of Nvidia Grid, it’s essentially Netflix for games. Huge titles such as Borderlands 2 and Dirt 2 stream from servers in Dublin straight to your Nvidia Shield Tablet, with zero lag and latency. And best of all? It’s completely free, and will be until at least summer 2015.

Of course, to get the most from this amazing tablet, you’ll need Nvidia’s own controller. Normally this costs you an extra £50, but until the end of March you can pick up the controller for free when you buy the 16GB Shield Tablet for just £239.

As if that wasn’t enough already, Nvidia is also throwing the fantastic Green Box bundle in for no extra pennies. That includes Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode One and Portal, three of the best games of all time.

If you upgrade to the Shield Tablet 32GB model for £299, you’ll not only get the controller and Green Box games bundle, but you’ll also get a free Shield Cover to keep your tablet protected and also prop it upright when you get your game on.

To take advantage of the deal, head to Nvidia’s Shield Tablet webpage and select your preferred retailer. If you go with Amazon, you then add the tablet of your choice and the bundled accessories and you will only be charged for the tablet.

Nvidia’s deal runs until March 31st.
