Google seems to be following in the footsteps of every other phone manufacturer on Earth by throwing out a massive phablet-sized phone, going by various leaked photos and rumours. The Nexus 6 is expected to be 5.9-inches, rocking a curved plastic frame, dual front-facing speakers and a centrally mounted rear camera with ring flash, as seen in the above leaked shot.

This second leaked shot shows the Nexus 6 (left) lined up on a lovely bit of carpet with a 5.5-inch G3, proving this phone is going to be a proper handful.

Google Nexus 6 features

The Nexus 6’s 5.9-inch screen should pack a 1440 x 2560 resolution, making it seriously good for enjoying HD flicks. We’re expecting the latest SnapDragon 805 processor, a high-capacity battery (3,200mAh is rumoured) to power that huge screen and a 13-megapixel camera, hopefully with Optical Image Stabilisation, 4K, Slow-mo and plenty of other cool features.

And of course, the Nexus 6 will be the first phone to sport Google’s new Android L OS, which just today was seen running on an iPhone.

Google should launch the Nexus 6 in the next month or so, with the phone hitting stores very soon after. So we’d expect it to be available here in the UK by early November, rocking a seriously good price tag. An Indian shipping doc listed the phone’s value as 35k rupees, which is pretty much bang on £350.
