Honor just launched its latest affordable phone, the Honor 5C, a 5.2-inch mobile packing the latest Android, a 13-megapixel camera and plenty of intriguing features. Here’s all you need to know about the Honor 5C, including the UK price and release date and all of the main specs.

What are the Honor 5C’s specs?

This 5.2-inch phone boasts a Full HD IPS screen, packing 424 pixels-per-inch for crisp, clear images. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the OS of choice, overlaid with Huawei’s Emotion UI 4.1, which should hopefully run smoothly thanks to the Kirin 650 chipset that powers the Honor 5C. This octa-core processor is formed of two quad-core chips, one running at 2GHz and the other running at 1.7GHz. It’s backed by 2GB of RAM.

You get a 13-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera, plus an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front-facing lens for snapping your gorgeous mug. With 16GB of storage, you should have enough space to store hundreds of photos. A 3000mAh battery will hopefully keep you going all day while the Honor 5C also boasts support for dual SIM cards.

As for the Honor 5C’s design, the phone packs an aluminum frame with a brushed metal effect. It weighs 156g.

What is the Honor 5C’s UK price and release date?

The Honor 5C costs £149 here in the UK. You can pre-order it right now from Honor’s online VMall store and the Honor 5C will also be available via Amazon, eBuyer, Clove and Expansys.

UK network Three will also be stocking the Honor 5C from August, on Pay Monthly contract and PAYG. We’re still waiting for official news from the other UK networks on availability.
