The HTC Desire C is the new budget offering from HTC and the replacement for the HTC Wildfire S. Running the latest version of Google’s operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich, it includes a 3.5-inch HVGA screen and 5-megapixel camera. The design is similar to the new HTC One range with high-quality features, including a micro-drilled ear piece and metal camera bezel.
The HTC Wildfire and the HTC Wildfire S were hugely successful phones for HTC, combining high-end features with an entry-level price point designed to appeal to the first time smartphone user. The HTC Desire C looks to appeal in a similar way.
