It’s looking to be a pretty tablet-shaped morning here at Recombu; just after we reported that the HTC Flyer is available to buy (sort of) directly from HTC now we heard that the Flyer will be touching down on Carphone Warehouse shelves today, along with LG’s Optimus Pad.
You’ll be able to get the HTC Flyer for £129.99 on a £25 a month Talkmobile plan. The plan includes a monthly data cap of 5GB and lasts for 24 months. Alternatively, you can buy one on it’s own for £599.99.
No word from Carphone Warehouse whether or not it’s the 16GB or 32GB edition of the Flyer that they’re selling.
But considering that HTC is selling 32GB Flyers for £599.99 it’s highly likely that this is the version that Carphone is selling here.
The LG Optimus Pad, with it’s face-melting 3D camera rig is also available to order from Carphone Warehouse today.
The Android 3.0 Honeycomb tab is going for a little more than the Flyer at £299.99 on the same £25 24 month contract. Again, this gives you 5GB of data per month. Or, if your pockets are a little deeper, you can shell out £749.99 for the Optimus Pad on its own.
