HTC HD Mini: Small and slightly pointless

One of the reasons we really like the HTC HD2 is because it has a huge screen so we don’t really get the HTC HD Mini – a smaller version of the HD2. Boasting a 3.2-inch display and Windows Mobile 6.5, this handset looks cute but it’s not great to type on or view content on.

It’s not that we don’t like small phones but Windows Mobile 6.5 doesn’t really do it for us. Windows Mobile 6.5 issues aside, we don’t understand why HTC is shouting about a yellow interior that you can only see when you take the battery cover off.

Specs-wise the HD2 features HSDPA, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 5-megapixel camera. Don’t get us wrong though, the HD Mini is a very cute phone, we just don’t get it and we won’t be buying one. As for the HTC Legend, we’ll be buying plenty of those. If you disagree and you do fancy buying one then you’ll be able to pick one up in the second half of this year.
