Spotted on the rails at this years’ London Fashion Week is the HTC Jacket. Like the super stylish Incredible S, a premium has placed on design here. The HTC Jacket features a fetching herringbone cover and three distinctive zips on its front. The company logo is also resplendent on the side in an eye-catching diamante pattern.
No other word on its other features yet, such as camera resolution, internal memory, or whether it’ll ship with Android 2.3 or 2.4. Given HTC’s track record for Android updates, we can be sure that it’ll be updated to the latest version pretty darn soon.
It looks like the HTC Jacket will be available to buy without a SIM card for £199 – aiming at the budget end of the market. It looks as though it was to be initially priced at £899, so it’s good to see this taking a price tumble.
HTC declined to comment on the Jacket’s availability, and Vodafone (one of the sponsors for London Fashion Week) couldn’t be reached for comment.
