HTC One Mini said to include Snapdragon 400, 1GB of RAM

The HTC One Mini continues to leak left, right, and center, with the latest look at the phone further confirming the specifications. AndroidNext has received a detailed rundown of the specifications from a source, as well as screenshots from CPU-Z that all but confirm what the handset is packing.

According to the the site, the HTC One Mini will feature a 4.3-inch 720p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor clocked at 1.4Ghz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and the same “UltraPixel” camera found on the HTC One. The sensor may only be 4-megapixels, but the pixels are double the size of a traditional sensor, allowing for better low light pictures.

It’s a little disappointing to find out that the HTC One Mini may just have 1GB of RAM, especially considering that Android needs all the RAM it can get, but at the end of the day HTC is probably positioning this as a cheaper alternative to its flagship. It’s not clear what price point the company intends to hit with the phone, though.

Rumours have suggested that the HTC One Mini will be announced sometime in August, so eager buyers may not have to wait much longer.
