HTC One black photo leaks

A photograph purporting to be the black version of HTC One, the hotly anticipated Android smartphone HTC is expected to reveal next week, has appeared online.

HTC One rumoured photograph

The photograph comes from EvLeaks at Unwired View, which has a strong track record in revealing early, yet often accurate photographs of forthcoming smartphones.

With curved corners, capacitive buttons and what looks like dual-speakers, the black HTC One (which we are expecting the phone to be called) appears to be running a new version of HTC Sense. But it’s the date on screen that’s really interesting – Tuesday Feb 13 New York, when HTC is holding an event and it is expected to reveal it’s new flagship phone.

There have been a host of rumours about the HTC One, codenamed the HTC M7 before. The design itself is a little bland – it looks very similar the the BlackBerry Z10 and Apple iPhone 5, but it’s hard to gauge much from a single photo.

A leaked parts video suggests it will have a minimum of 4.7-inch display and Flickr photos suggests the 12-megapixel camera comprises of a trio of 4.3-megapixel sensors. Read more in our HTC M7 rumours.

We’ll be at the HTC launch in London next week and we will bring you more information about the new phone then.
