HTC Sensation: New super phone named for the UK

A new yet-to-be officially official HTC phone will be called the HTC Sensation when it arrives in the UK.

Acording to Pocket-Lint’s shadowy sources, this is the phone set to launched at HTC’s press event next week. Though their source didn’t reveal when it would get into shops here, nor which networks the did confirm that, “…it will be launched in the UK as the HTC Sensation.”

Previously code-named Pyramid, there’s been a few photo and spec leaks; expect a 4.3-inch screen, and high-end dual-core processing power to rival all those other superphones.

It looks like it’ll be quite a jump from the recently release HTC S-series of phones, and we expect it may well cost a bit more.
It’s rumoured to arrive in May across the Atlantic, but we’re sure to hear release dates and more at their big announcement event next week. We asked for comment from HTC, whose spokesperson told us that they, “do not comment on rumour and speculation.”

Recombu’s been invited to next week’s conference, and will be reporting on all the details.
