The HTC Smart which was announced last month is coming to the UK in April and will be available exclusivley on O2.
The HTC Smart comes with HTC’s Sense user interface but unlike the HTC Legend and HTC Desire, it doesn’t run on Android. Instead the Smart runs Qualcomm’s Brew platform.
Spec-wise the HTC Smart has a 2.8-inch screen, packs a 3-megapixel camera with an LED light and allows for browsing via 3G but doesn’t come with Wi-Fi.
We contacted O2 for some pricing details and while it couldn’t give us anything specific yet it did say that the HTC Smart will be very competitively priced. We think that it will cost around the same price as the T-Mobile Pulse Mini, which will be sold for £99.99 on pay-as-you-go.
