HTC has released a pictorial teaser on it’s official Facebook page ahead of the phone announcement later today.
The HTC Facebook page shows a device – which looks like a white mobile phone – peeking out from under a piece of cloth, with the date ‘19.2.13’ stitched across it and underneath the phrase ‘Ready to be unwrapped.’
HTC is holding simultaneous launch events this afternoon in London and New York, where it is expected to reveal its new flagship smartphone. The phone was initially codenamed the HTC M7, but recent rumours suggest it will be called the HTC One, although won’t know for definite until later today.
HTC has been steadily revealing information about the phone to build anticiption, including a teaser video and last week a photo appeared alleged to be a black version. The HTC One will run Android (we’re guessing Android 4.2) with a new version of HTC Sense and rumoured hardware specifications include a 4.7-inch screen and 12-megapixel camera.
Recombu Mobile will be at the launch later today, so we’ll keep you up to date with more information about the new HTC phone.
