HTC’s One family offer the latest and greatest from the Taiwanese manufacturer in the form of the HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V; but a possible new, more exotic member of the family has been spotted in China.
HTC Wind specs rundown
The HTC T328w, or HTC ‘Wind’ as it’s also known, is looking to take on the mid-range market sector with a formidable spec sheet including dual-SIM functionality, a 4″ Super LCD at WVGA resolution, a 5MP camera and 1GHz single-core processor supported by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage with microSD card support. There’s also a 1650mAh battery and best of all Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0 running on top.
With styling reminiscent of the HTC One S, specs sitting slightly above that of the HTC One V and the latest iteration of Android (something most mid-range devices currently lack), it’s unclear as to which market the HTC Wind is intended for, although dual-SIM functionality is usually for the developing market. Dual-sim is a rare thing nowadays particularly from the likes of HTC and that is likely to garner a lot of interest.
