If you want the best that HTC can offer right now, then the One is definitely the phone to buy. But some of the features from the One have trickled down to other handsets, and the Taiwanese company may continue the trend. The purported HTC Zara – leaked courtesy of @evleaks – may be one of those phones. It looks to be an low to mid-range device with several cues taken from HTC’s flagship for 2013.

The Zara looks to feature stereo speakers – just like the One – as well as Beats Audio intergration and Sense 5. The general design doesn’t seem too different either, although some cues have been taken from past HTC handsets. The camera module, for instance, looks just like the part found on the One X.
The Twitter leakster shared the specifications for the handset too. Tthe Zara will apparently include a 4.5-inch 960×540 display, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2Ghz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (plus a microSD card slot), and an 8-megapixel camera. A 2,100mAh battery will reportedly power the unit, and the phone is said to be running Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5.
And we’ll probably see the phone relatively soon as well. @evleaks says that the Zara is expected to be announced during Q4, so expect an official reveal in the coming months.
