After months of waiting the Infinity Blade 2 release date came upon us yesterday and it’s already it’s the number one Top Grossing app in the Apple App Store.
Retailing for £4.99, although it works on all iOS devices, the latest version of Infinity Blade has been designed especially for Apple’s dual-core processor, now of course in the Apple iPhone 4S as well as the Apple iPad 2.
Powered by the Unreal engine, as well as stunning graphics, the game is around four times bigger than the original Infinity Blade. Developed by Epic Games’ ChAIR Entertainment, the game is set around new locations, including the intriguing Vault of Tears and includes three new types of combat: Light, Dual and Heavy.
The original Infinity Blade was a groundbreaking game for iOS, delivering visuals, which for the first time, were easily a match with the Sony PlayStation Portable.
