iOS 7 beta 3 focuses on visual changes

Apple continues to update its iOS 7 beta ahead of the consumer release in a few months time. The latest version, beta 3, seems to focus heavily on visual tweaks to the OS, correcting some problems that commenters pointed out back when Apple first unveiled the refreshed OS at WWDC 2013.

9to5Mac has put together a full list of all the changes in beta 3. There are lots of minor tweaks overall, but they all add up to further change the visual aesthetic of the mobile operating system. The status bar has now been enlarged on the lock screen, for instance, and fonts have been tweaked throughout the OS overall to improve readability. Folders have also been made somewhat more transparent, and Apple has tweaked the music controls and the clock icon in the new Control Center.

The App Store has seen a few changes too, with Apple adding some new tab designs that look more appealing. Animations have been tweaked all over the OS too, and Siri is said to be even faster than before. Again, these are all minor changes, but they all add up at the end of the day. 9to5Mac has even put together a handy video that goes through the various changes in iOS 7 beta 3, so make sure to watch it if you want to keep up to date with what Apple is working on.
