Who else is looking forward to the next six months of iPad 2 rumours, announcements, overenthusiastic praise and controversial slating?
Well, it officially starts here. Digitimes is reporting certain component manufacturers have started shipping parts supposedly intended for the second generation Apple iPad.
If the rumours are to be believed, the iPad 2 will be in production during Q1 2011, with a suspected launch in the same quarter. Rumoured specs include a front-facing camera, more RAM for faster performance and a mini-USB port.
Is there any truth to these rumours? Only time will tell – unless Gizmodo stumbles across an iPad 2 in a bar, of course. [via 9to5 Mac]
