If you’ve already managed to place your iPad 2 order on Apple’s site, then you can’t have failed to notice the lovely array of Smart Covers that are available to order as well.
The colourful polyurethane ones are priced at £35 a throw and the earth tone coloured leather ones are going for £59 each.
You’re currently limited to four Smart Covers per order, so if you were planning on getting the full set of ten (a different colour each day to suit your mood) then you’ll have to wait.
The Smart Covers ingeniously attach to your iPad 2 by way of magnets, fold up so that they can be used as a FaceTime/TV stand or a keyboard stand. The covers also help to polish the screen when shut, removing your greasy finger marks as well as protecting it from dust and other marks.
The red leather one is a (PRODUCT) RED cover exclusively available through the Apple Store. A portion of the proceeds from this one will be dontated to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.
There’s no extra charge for delivery of your Smart Cover(s), and orders will be dispatched in 2-3 weeks.
