iPhone 3GS gets video calling with iSeeU accessory

It seems to be the day of rubbish iProductNames today, but we just had to bring you this news if only for the two excellent videos below. iSeeU is a clever little gizmo which gives you front-facing camera functionality from your rear-facing camera. It uses a bunch of carefully arranged mirrors to reflect what’s in front of the phone into the camera at the back.

Here’s a sweet little video showing iSeeU at work:

Obviously the iPhone 3G and 3GS don’t come with FaceTime, Apple’s proprietary video-calling app, but you can use other messaging applications like Fring to gawk at your pals as you chat. The clip-on iSeeU device should be released imminently (it looks as though the forecast date of ‘early October’ has been missed). It’ll be available in five different colours and will set you back around £20 plus shipping.

Now all that’s out of the way, let’s just sit back and enjoy this sort-of baffling ‘I’m a PC’ style marketing video…
