Photographic and mobile phone accessory manufacturer Joby has introduced two new versions of it’s GorrilaMobile Ori stand and the GorrilaMobile Yogi tripod.
Originally announced in January, the updates follow the introduction of the camera in the Apple iPad 2 and have been designed to provide a steady stand for FaceTime or Skype video calling.
Constructed from light aluminium/polypropelne, typically found in cars, the GorrilaMobile Ori is a case and stand, which can be folded into multiple positions to suit your environment. From a stand that elevates the iPad for watch movies, to folio mode flush to the iPad for convenient transportation.
Similar to the Gorrila tripods Joby is know for, the GorrilaMobile Yogi comprises of two flexible legs that can support the iPad 2 on flat or uneven surfaces, or twists around fixtures, which is useful if you want to use the tablet in an environment like a kitchen or workshop. Providing protection from drops and falls, is a polycarbonate case with rubber bumpers, while a quick-release clip detaches the legs.
The GorrillaMobile Ori and GorrillaMobile Yogi for iPad 2 are available now from www.joby.com, priced £54.95 and £34.95.
