It’s a good week for iPhone or iPad-owning fans of Harry Potter. We wrote the other day about the Scene It? Harry Potter game, but now the studio behind the Potter movies – Warner Bros – has released a LEGO-branded game too.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is a Universal app, working across all iOS devices. It offers a smattering of key events from the series, including the Triwizard Tournament, the Quidditch World Cup, the Basilisk battle, and a big fight with Voldemort himself.
Hogwarts Castle has been lovingly recreated in blocky LEGOvision, and more than 100 characters feature in the game, including all your favourites. You can also customise characters with different pieces, much as you would in the real world.
On console, LEGO games have been excellent in recent years, so we have high hopes for this new iOS game, which follows in the footsteps of Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
