Lesbians unite Android and iOS users

Despite the rivalry, Android and iOS users both agree that they love lesbians, if new insights published by Pornhub are anything to go by.

One of the world’s largest porn providers, Pornhub has just published new data about the mobile traffic its site has seen so far in 2015. In the last five years there’s been a massive shift in the amount of traffic attributed to mobile devices. Back in 2010, smartphones accounted for just 12 per cent of all traffic to the site, in 2015 it accounts for well over half (63 per cent).

The site’s statisticians didn’t stop there however, breaking down that 63 per cent in a number of ways. The data shows that there’s a fairly even split between visitors rocking iOS and Android devices, but iPad users are way out in front when it comes to wanting a big-screened pornographic experience, swallowing up 68 per cent of the of the tablet viewership.

We’ve already heard about what Android users get up to from the site itself, but there’s a notable difference in their preferences over their counterparts on the iOS side of the fence.

iOS users are less bashful about exploring their kinks, with categories like ‘bondage’ featuring far more prevalently from traffic linked to iPhones and iPads. And when it comes to big names Android users prefer a professional performance, with Lisa Ann rocking the top spot for leading ladies, whilst iOS viewers prefer to see what Kim Kardashian gets up to behind closed doors.

But for all the disparities between the more vocal Android and iOS users out there, one of Pornhub’s stats rang true for both parties, lesbians. In the sites most recent list of popular search terms, users of both operating systems unwittingly pushed ‘lesbian’ to the top of the list.

It’s nice to know that despite all the hate, the flame wars in comments sections of websites across the globe and the ongoing battle of whether or not Apple or Samsung is winning the smartphone war, both camps are big supporters of same sex relationships, or maybe just same sex.
