The first phone to arrive in the UK with a glasses-free 3D display, the Optimus 3D grabbed our attention with it’s 3D-capable 4.3-inch screen and dual-lens camera setup.
The camera can also record full HD 2D video, and 720p 3D video. Online shop Clove has put their pre-order page live, with an early summer release date of 9 June 2011.
Clove are pretty indiscriminate with their release dates- we can almost foretell this date will shift around a bit before it settles, going on previous form. (A few months earlier, Expansys’ preorder form said it was set to arrive next week.)
Clove mention it themselves, saying that their date is: “Subject to change – but accurate at this time.”
Expect to pay just under £455 for the dual-core phone, SIM-free.
