Just as we were scouring the T-Mobile site for details of the violet BlackBerry Curve 3G, we happened across this on the ‘Coming soon’ section.
It very much looks like the LG Optimus Black will be coming to T-Mobile here in the UK, with an estimated ETA for somewhen in March.
There’s nothing else to be gleaned from the teaser page, just a few images of the phone and a contact form where you can register your interest for updates.
The LG Optimus Black was announced at CES this year where it stole the iPhone 4’s Slimmest Smartphone Evur crown. The Optimus Black’s waist measures a sprightly 9.2mm, where the iPhone 4 measures a portly 9.3mm.
Waistlines aside, the LG Optimus Black runs on Android 2.2/Froyo, has a 5-megapixel camera and a 4-inch NOVA screen, that’s apparently more battery efficient than a similar-sized AMOLED. Though no date has been given, we’ve been told that the Optimus Black will upgrade to Android 2.3/Gingerbread in the future.
