Last year’s Microsoft Lumia 950 and the massive Lumia 950 XL were our first proper glimpse of Windows 10 mobiles, and while the software definitely has some issues that need attention, there’s plenty of promise in there too from the likes of Continuum and the very cool Windows Hello eyeball-unlocking feature.
The Lumia 950 and 950 XL are well-priced considering that premium hardware, but for anyone on a much stricter budget there’s the new Microsoft Lumia 650 mid-range mobile. Check out our in-depth Lumia 650 review for our full thoughts.

Microsoft Lumia 650: Specs and features
This 5-inch phone once again runs Windows 10, which shares a consistent look and feel with the desktop version of Windows. There’s a 5-inch 720p HD display and a basic 1.3GHz Snapdragon 212 quad-core processor (backed by 1GB of RAM), which does mean that performance is limited. You also have an 8-megapixel camera for snapping your life and an all-new 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Microsoft Lumia 650: UK price and release date
The Lumia 650 comes with a SIM-free UK price of £150-£160. That means the Lumia 650 will rival other mid-range phones such as the Wileyfox Swift and the Motorola Moto G. You can buy the Lumia 650 here in the UK from February 18th 2016.
