More Motorola Honeycomb tablet details and photos emerge

When Google slyly revealed as little as possible about the Motorola-made, Honeycomb-running Android tablet last week, it was only a matter of time before some sneaky tipster came up with more photos and specs to share with the internet.

That time is up: these new images and details have surfaced courtesy of a Verizon employee. The slab is a 10-incher featuring a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera with flash, front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video calling.

Media-wise it should be a pretty good bet, with that large display coming in at 1280 x 800 pixels and a large external speaker. It’s all powered by a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset, clocking in at 1GHz with 512MB of RAM.

It’s not clear exactly what connectivity the device will have yet – Wi-Fi is pretty much a given but will there be a 3G version or even a 4G? We’ll have to wait and see – the official reveal will probably take place at next month’s CES, so stay tuned…
