A couple more snaps of the enigmatic Symbian Belle-running Nokia Zeta (aka the Nokia 700) have emerged, courtesy of Know Your Mobile India.
Unlike the fuzzy in-the-wild pictures we’ve seen previously, these appears to be in house product shots lending a bit more weight to the Zeta being a Real Actual Thing.
The back shot seems to all but confirm the rumour of the Zeta sporting a 5-megapixel camera and the menu layout resembles what we’ve seen on so-called Symbian Belle phones in the past. No word or mention of those other famous purported specs – a 1GHz CPU and an NFC chip.
We’re not sure about that large external speaker that juts out at the bottom – could get dirty pretty quickly.
While we’re champing at the bit to get our first look at the Nokia Sea Ray (whatever it eventually gets called) we have to say that were looking forwards to seeing how the next gen of Symbian phones shapes up as well.
We’ve asked Nokia for a comment on this and the other leaked Symbian Belle specs – so far all we’ve heard back is “it’s company policy not to comment on market speculation or rumour.” We hope to hear something concrete from Nokia on this soon.
