Motorola 7-inch Honeycomb tablet leaks

Pictures have been leaked online proporting to show a very slim, 7-inch Android Honeycomb tablet from Motorola.

This Is My Next has obtained footage of what appears to be a 7-inch tablet sitting on top of the desk, with what appears to be a Honeycomb camera app on the screen (you can just make out the circular icons recognisable from other tablets).

Physically it looks very different from the Xoom – the edges are angled, it’s white and the Motorola logo is located on the top vertical edge.

It would make sense for Motorola to make a 7-inch tablet, earlier this year Motorola’s CEO Sanjay Jha revealed that the company was planning to release a smaller tablet by the end of the year.

Looking at the picture, we’re not totally convinced. There don’t seem to be any reflections on the device at all, we fired up the Xoom in the office and the screen is incredibly reflective, although Moto could use a different type of glass. It also looks so thin it’s unreal – almost paper thin – exacerbated by the poor quality of the shot. It also looks like it could be bit bigger than 7-inches, but it’s really hard to tell from the photograph.

We’d be really excited by the prospect of a 7-inch Motorola tablet, the hardware used in the Xoom was excellent. Would you like to see a 7-inch tablet? Let us know below or via Facebook and Twitter.
