Motorola Facebook phone spotted: With keyboard, without Android

Arriving a little late to the party, it looks like Motorola has decided to join the Facebook phone crowd, according to these fuzzy grabs of a future feature phone.

It certainly isn’t running Android, and looks like it’ll run on Moto’s own proprietary software, like the forthcoming Motorola Wilder.

Spotted by Unwired View, details remain sparse; there’s a full QWERTY keyboard on show, with a 2.4-inch display above – possibly a capacitive touchscreen like the Wilder, possibly not.

From the Bluetooth profile, we can see that aside from the keyboard there’s also a dedicated Facebook button – but this isn’t always a good thing.

The profile of the phone does, as Louis Walsh might say, remind us of a young Galaxy S2, with a chin at the base jutting out from the rest of possibly rather thin handset. It’ll line-up alongside exiting FB-centric phones from the likes of HTC, INQ and even Vodafone.
