Motorola Milestone breaks free of exclusive, heads to Carphone Warehouse

When Motorola announced the Milestone last year we jumped out of our chairs. The slick Android device was better than anything we’d seen from Motorola since the Razr. Motorola had finally created a phone with a slick user interface, a responsive touchscreen, a full Qwerty keypad and looks that kill.

In an unusual move though, Motorola decided to give eXpansys the UK launch exclusive, so you could only buy it SIM-free for around £450 or on a £35 monthly contract with T-Mobile. Today that exclusive deal is over and Carphone Warehouse has announced that it is selling the Motorola Milestone on monthly contracts.

You can now buy the Motorola Milestone on an Orange, T-Mobile or Vodafone monthly contract starting at £30. Some of the Carphone Warehouse Milestone contracts offer the Milestone for free but the cheapest deal we could find involves paying £30 for the handset, which isn’t too bad. For more information about pricing visit Carphone Warehouse or eXpansys.
