Motorola launches a new 4G version of its best-selling Moto G smartphone, for just £149 in the UK.
Last year’s Motorola Moto G mobile phone offered incredible value at just £135, packing a sharp HD screen, quad-core processor and great all-round smartphone experience – no wonder it’s Motorola’s best-selling smartphone to date. Now that incredible value just got even better, as Motorola launched its new Moto G 4G smartphone.

The Moto G 4G packs the same great specs as the Moto G, but also comes packing 4G support, for just £149. That’s impressive value, which should offer serious rivalry to the likes of Nokia’s Lumia 625 (and upcoming Lumia 635).
Not only does the new Moto G offer 4G LTE support, it also addresses one of the Moto G’s other weaknesses – namely its lack of expandable storage. The Moto G 4G now has a microSD memory card slot, to expand the meagre offering inside.
The Moto G 4G should be out in the UK at the start of June on a variety of providers, and check out the full skinny on Motorola’s first sub-£100 Android KitKat smartphone, the Moto E, which also launched today.
