Motorola MOTOACTV comes to the UK

“Part GPS fitness tracker, part smart music player, all you.”

It’s clear that with their MOTOACTV, Motorola are bringing a solution for those itching to combine all the things they love, fitness, music and Android. How have they done this? By creating a wrist strappable device with 8GB of storage for your favourite tunes and a fitness performance tracker on board.

Acting as an MP3 player and FM Radio, the MOTOACTV not only play tracks as standard, it also offers a little something different for the real power-users. If you’ve ever wondered which tracks perk up your pace, the MOTOACTV analyses performance against individual songs, going on to generate playlists based on tracks that spike your speed.

You can also track your time, distance, speed, heart rate and calories burned, so you can reach your fitness or weight loss goals, beat your personal best, then share it across a range of social networks by connecting the MOTOACTV with an Android handset.

The Motorola MOTOACTV will be available in Sweatshops from 1st December, with the 8GB model setting you back £249.99. An additional accessory pack will be available for £39.99 adding an arm band, bike mount and wall charger so that whatever your sport, you can get your MOTOACTV on.

The pricing seems on the steep side, however, considering most GPS watches retail for £100> and this packs considerably more functionality, for the fitness buff who wants it all, we can see the appeal.
