We got to have a bit of hands-on time with the Motorola Pro, the Qwerty-toting Android phone that Motorola announced earlier today.
As you can see it’s running Motoblur, Motorla’s custom Android UI. It runs on Android 2.2/Froyo, and has a 1GHz processor, so you know it’s going to be a capable multitasker. That 3.1-inch display is also a touchscreen, one that supports multitouch at that.
We had a quick go with it and found it easy to type on and the touchscreen to be responsive. It might be a little small to type on for some users who are used to the landscape Qwerty stylings of phones like the Motorola Milestone.
The 5-megapixel camera of the Motorola Pro, with the dual LED flash underneath. A Xenon flash would be better mind, but two flashes are better than none.
The Motorola Pro from the side, showing off its camera button. As you can see there’s a massive great security tag stuck to the Pro, so we couldn’t really give you a clear shot of its back.
