Motorola Razr UK price and release date emerge

UK phone retailer Clove has released pricing and availability details for the new Motorola Razr mobile phone.

Motorola announced yesterday that Razr – one of the most iconic and popular handsets of the early-mid 2000’s -would be making a comeback. Retaining the distinctive design, the RAZR now runs Android 2.3.5 and is powered by a bang-up-to-date 1.2Ghz processor, with 1GB Ram. There’s also a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen.

Clove will be selling the phone for a sim-free price of £379, with the first stock expected around November 1st.

Like the Motorola Atrix, when used with a series of newly released docks, you can access the WebTop application, which includes a full Firefox browser as well as editing documents.

Pre-loaded onto the phone is the new MotoCast app for streaming music and photos remotely from a PC, and the Smart Actions app for automating simple tasks.

There’s an 8-megapixel camera on board which also captures full HD movies.

There’s no news yet on which networks will be stocking the RAZR, but we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
