When Motorola announced the new Razr we were incredibly excited, part of this was nostalgia: with it’s distinctive ring tone and slim design the original Razr was perhaps the phone that epitomised the 1990s.
But also we were excited by the specifications of the new Razr.
With a generous 4.3-inch Super AMOLED scratch resistant screen for movie playback; powerful dual-core processor backed by 1GB RAM for gaming and a camera that captures full HD 1080p movies.
What’s even more impressive is the design. Encased in a tough Kevlar shell, the Razr is just 7.1mm deep – making it one of the slimmest smartphone on the market, even thinner than the Apple iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S2.
The Motorola Razr runs Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 and Motorola has confirmed it will be getting an update to Ice Cream Sandwich in 2012, although there’s no news exactly when.
