Motorola have just unleashed the first salvo in the forthcoming war of the tablets. Making less than subtle hints to Apple’s iconic 1984-esque advert, which promised that they were ‘different’, the advert doesn’t even show Motorola’s Xoom tablet at all.
Like a movie trailer for a film not yet in production; it’s a lot of chest-beating and high-spec boasting- something that Apple doesn’t typically do. Motorola does promise us poor consumers “more freedom”. Now that does sound like a film!
