My Taptu 1.1 iPhone and Android updates adds Google Reader support

We like readers here at Recombu. Turns out one of our favourite reader apps – My Taptu – has just updated to the latest version which allows you to import feeds from your Google Reader.

In the Settings menu of My Tatptu for iPhone and Android, there’s now an option that’ll allow you to import up to 30 RSS feeds from Google Reader – just enter your Google username and password as you would when logging in to your iGoogle homepage on your desktop and away you go.

Another welcome new feature is that any news stories posted by people you’re following on Twitter will be previewed before you follow the link off of My Taptu. We’re told that support for full article reading is coming in a future update “very very soon”, which means you won’t have to keep diving off into your phone’s browser to read everything.

Update: Google Reader support isn’t yet available on the iPhone version of My Taptu 1.1, that’s coming soon we’re told.
