Three is the latest phone network to announce that it’ll be stocking the forthcoming BlackBerry Bold 9900.
Revealed earlier this week, the new smartphone has a 1.2GHz processor, along with a five-megapixel camera, capable of HD video-recording. It’s also trumpeted as being the thinnest BlackBerry handset yet, with hints of the iPhone 4’s design echoed in the Bold 9900’s stainless steel sides.
It’ll also be the first phone from RIM to come with BlackBerry OS 7.0, its latest operating system, which promises faster internet browsing; 1.6 times faster, according to RIM.
The Bold 9900 will also arrive with the full version of Docs To Go, meaning you’ll be able to create and edit Word, Excel and Powerpoint files from your phone.
Three joins Vodafone, who also announced it’ll be stocking the Bold 9900 on release day. Three hasn’t yet confirmed whether they’ll also have the phone from day one, but we’ll hear more from the network later today, and will update when we hear more.
