Nokia 703 Windows Phone 7 handset leaks?

A picture has appeared showing what could be Nokia’s next mobile phone, which appears to be a mid-range handset with a similar styling to the N9.

WM Power User has got hold of a leaked carrier sheet, which picture appears to be a carrier sheet, detailing a front-view of the handset along with a bit of information about the specifications.

The phone looks very similar to the Nokia N9 (check out our N9 gallery here), with the same blue unibody design and three back, menu and search buttons at the bottom.

Specification information is hard to read, but it appears that the phone has a 3.7-inch screen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. Storage is 8GB and there’s 512MB RAM. It captures 5-megapixel stills and 720p HD movies.

The Nokia 703 clearly sits under the N9 in Nokia’s range, the N9 has Super AMOLED screen, 16Gb storage and an 8-megapixel camera. Following news that Nokia has changed it’s mobile naming system, it makes sense that the 703 doesn’t appear to have quite as meaty specs as the N9.

There’s speculation that it’s Nokia’s debut Windows Phone Tablet – the See Ray. Nokia has yet to confirm anything, but we’ll bring you more news as soon as we get it.
