We’ve had a play with this slim-yet-satisfying six-incher from Nokia, and it could be yours from February 24 for under £300
We’ve already taken delivery of our very own Nokia Lumia 1320, a fresh six-inch Nokia phablet that slashes the specs for an affordable price, and you can grab yours from February 24. EE, Virgin Mobile and Carphone Warehouse will all stock the mid-range phablet, with prices hopefully coming in at well under £300. Initial whispers point to a price around £269.
Movie fans on a budget should enjoy the spacious and pleasingly bright IPS display. It might only pack a 720p resolution, but our first impressions are positive, with images appearing crisp and boasting realistic colours, with wide viewing angles.
You get the usual Nokia features bundled, including the new Storybook app. We downloaded the Nokia Camera app to use with the 5-megapixel snapper, with typically slick results – it’s not one of Nokia’s premium lenses, but it seems to do the job nicely for everyday shots, and the powerful flash does its job well.
The Lumia 1320 will be joined in just over a week by some new Lumia family members, at Nokia’s MWC 2014 launch. We’ll bring you a full review of the Lumia 1320 very soon, and check back on Monday February 24 for the big Nokia launch news.
