Orange customers will soon be able to get their hands on Nokia’s second Windows Phone, the Lumia 710.
Announced at Nokia World last year, the phone has appeared on Orange’s coming soon page. It’s not available for pre-order yet, although interested customers are invited to register for details
The Lumia 710 offers many of the features of the excellent Lumia 800, but at a more affordable price point.
Running Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango), there;s a 3.7-inch 480×800 resolution screen with ClearBlack technology, 8GB storage and it’s powered by a 1.4Ghz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor. The 5-megapixel camera can capture 720p HD movies.
We’ve had a play with the Nokia Lumia 710 and it’s a chunky, solid phone, although the plastic design is no match for the smooth polycarbonate Lumia 800, which is hardly surprising considering the lower price point.
While we know the Lumia 710 will be more affordable Windows Phone offering, at the moment Orange has not confirmed UK pricing or exact availability. We’ll bring you more news as soon as we get it.
