The Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia’s competitively-priced Windows Phone, will be coming to Vodafone, a source tells us.
No mention at all of prices or release dates were mentioned, but based on what we’ve heard elsewhere we already know a little bit about this.
We know that it’s going to be cheaper than the Nokia Lumia 800, which Vodafone is currently selling free on plans starting at £36 a month.
Looking at Voda’s current prices for the Lumia 800, we’d expect the Lumia 710 to go for free on contracts around the £26-£31 mark. Nokia itself has set the price of the Lumia 710 at €270, which sets the pay-as-you-go price to roughly £225 in UK money.
The release date for the Nokia Lumia 710 is also slated for the 1st of February, giving us a rough ETA for Vodafone’s release date.
The Nokia Lumia 710 packs a 5-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory (Windows Phone standards) but comes with a nippier 1.4GHz processor and a brace of custom Nokia apps.
