In our round-up of sales figures for the Nokia Lumia 800, the observant of you out of there will have noted that Nokia’s big Windows Phone debut has yet to arrive on O2. So anyone waiting for the phone formerly known as the Sea Ray on O2 wouldn’t have been counted among the early adopters of the Lumia 800.
A glance over at O2’s Coming Soon page tells us that it’s launching in December – which begins tomorrow. With this in mind we had a quick chat with our source at O2, who told us that the Nokia Lumia 800 will be going on sale “next Friday the 9th of December.”
Sadly, there’s no information about pricing, just confirmation of the date.
Data will presumably be offered on the same basis as it is on other O2 smartphone contracts; i.e. £3 for 100MB, £6 for 500MB and £10 for 1GB on top of however much you’re paying for the minutes and messages.
Some kind of official announcement on this will no doubt roll out between now and next Friday – we’ll keep you posted.
